Alain Michigan studierte an verschiedenen Institutionen einschließlich SERMAC in Martinique, The International Dance Academy in Paris, das Choreographische Zentrum in Rouergue, The Joffrey Ballet School und The Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York und mit Milton Myers und Rodni Williams aus der Alvin Ailey American Dance School. Auftritte in Europa und Martinique, Choreographien für die Manhattan Dance Company, lehrte an der New York City Dance School, The South Eastern College und die Derree College, sowie im Tanz Forum ...... Workshops in ganz Europa, Griechenland, der Slowakei, Stuttgart. .....
Seit September 2007 Lehrer für Contemporary an der Ballettschule der Wiener Staatsoper.
