Karen Henry

Geboren in New York.

Ihre Ausbildung machte Karen Henry in der School of American Ballet und
im Dance Theatre of Harlem, wo sie 8 Jahre lang als Solistin und in der
Company tanzte.

Seit sie 1990 nach Wien kam, unterrichtete sie in der Musicalschule des
Theater an der Wien, im Performing Arts Vienna, im Tanzstudio Move On und im Ausbildungsprogramm des Studios Halfstreet 7.

Außerdem war sie von 1996-99 Assistentin der Ballettdirektorin und
Trainingsleiterin des Balletts in der Volksoper Wien, wo sie auch als
Solistin tanzte.

Karen Henry unterrichtet seit 2004 an der Ballettschule der Wiener Staatsoper.

Karen Henry was educated at the School of American Ballet and
the Dance Theatre of Harlem, where she danced 8 years as a soloist and in the
Company.

Since she came 1990 to Vienna, she taught in the School of Musical at the
Theatre an der Wien, Performing Arts in Vienna, in the dance studio Move On and in the training programme for the studios Half Street 7.

In addition, from 1996-99, she was assistant to the director and ballet master for the ballet in the Volksoper Vienna, where she also performed as Soloist.

Karen Henry is teaching since 2004 in the ballet school of the Vienna State Opera.
